Jesse Murray is our Owner and lead technician has worked in the automotive field since 1999. He started at a small local independent repair shop. From there, he went to work at Scott Motor Company (now Doug Henry) and was employed there for 5 years through the Doug Henry transition. Those first years gave him a solid foundation in all aspects of the automotive field to include transmission repair. At this point, he decided to broaden his knowledge pursue other experiences in automotive. He went to work at One-17 Wheel Alignment (now Line'm Up) where he gained experience performing suspension and drive-train work on everything from a Mini Cooper to Semi-Trucks. After that, he worked at Jone's Automotive where he honed his skills repairing all types of vehicles foreign and domestic. Then he was asked to come back to Doug Henry as the Shop Foreman / Transmission Tech where he stayed until he became an auto instructor at a local high school. After teaching for five years, he decided to go back into the field and was welcomed back as the transmission tech at Doug Henry once again. He opened Autostar Automotive in July 2014 feeling that he could give dealership quality work at an affordable rate. Jesse is ASE Master Certified
Neal Jones is our other master technician. He worked with Jesse at a local dealership and an independent shop. With over 30+years experience combined, they are great at what they do.
